Global Perspectives

The Global Perspectives program offers a tremendous opportunity for students at Lee to gain a cross-cultural experience. Lee University ranks as a top institution nationwide in terms of the percent of undergraduates receiving credit for studying abroad, according to the Open Door report.

The cross-cultural experience requirement is a core requirement for all students and includes a minimum of two Global Perspectives credit hours: the Global Perspectives Seminar and the Cross-Cultural Experience.

The Global Perspectives Office supports students by offering a range of options to fulfill the cross-cultural experience requirement, from affordable short-term faculty-led trips to immersive semester-long programs. At Lee University, students come to view this opportunity not just as a requirement, but as a transformative experience. We encourage them to fully immerse themselves in a new culture, expand their understanding of the world, and, as a result, gain a deeper perspective on themselves and others.
