Dr. Jeffrey Sargent has been the Director of Global Perspectives since 2024 and has been faculty at Lee University since 2005. Before taking the position of Director of Global Perspectives, Dr. Sargent was the Chair of the Behavioral and Social Sciences Department and was previously Director of First-Year Programs. He has led the Europe Psychology trip since 2007 and led the UK Semester Abroad trip in 2016, as well as taught overseas in Ecuador and Germany regularly since 2011. 

In additional to his role in this program, Dr. Sargent is the Director of International Programs. His passion is equip students with opportunities to engage the cultures of the world.

Laura Kearney is the Office Manager of Global Perspectives. She graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature degree in 2013 and received her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration degree from the College of William and Mary in 2016. She returned to work at Lee in 2021. During her undergraduate and graduate studies she took trips to Italy and England.
