Dr. Patricia McClung has been the Director of Global Perspectives since 2022. Before taking the position of Director of Global Perspectives at Lee University, Dr. McClung was Professor in Special Education and Chair of the Department of Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education at Lee. She has traveled extensively to other countries, particularly Europe and countries of the former Soviet Union, to the Middle East, to Africa, and to Cambodia where she directed cross-cultural experiences for students from Lee University. Her passion is to provide opportunities for university students to engage in and learn from a culture different from their own.



Laura Kearney headshot

Laura Kearney is the Office Manager of Global Perspectives. She graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature degree in 2013 and received her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration degree from the College of William and Mary in 2016. She returned to work at Lee in 2021. During her undergraduate and graduate studies she took trips to Italy and England.
