Group Cross-Cultural Study

Information for Group Cross-Cultural Study for 2023-2024: Coming soon!

Group Cross-Cultural Study trips are for cross-cultural credit only (GNST-250) and do not include any other courses. These trips may be led by Lee University faculty or staff, or they may be with an approved outside organization. Trips with Lee University athletic teams or music ensembles fall under this category. These trips are not eligible for financial aid. The $250 tuition charge for the GNST-250 course will be added to your regular Lee bill and is separate from the advertised cost of the trip.

You MUST have successfully completed GNST-200, the Global Perspectives Seminar, prior to going on one of these trips if you want to receive credit for GNST-250. If you have not yet taken GNST-200 yet and want to participate in one of these trips, you should register for GNST-200 as soon as possible.

Upcoming Trips

Jewish Immersion - Fall 2023

This trip is scheduled for October 2023. The application will be open August 21-25, but will fill up very quickly. Priority will be given to graduating seniors.

The total cost for this trip is $1,050 – which includes the cost of lodging, food, activities, and the $250 fee for the one credit hour (GNST-250). Students will be accepted by August 28, at which point they will have access to their billing contract. Payment for the trip of $800 will be due in its entirety by Friday, September 8 to Student Financial Services.

Cherokee NC - Summer 2024

The application for Cherokee Summer 2023 is now closed, and we do not yet have trip dates for 2024. If you would like to be placed on an interested student list for 2024, please email gperspectives@leeuniversity.edu.
